Eastern & Southern Africa

The Resource Alliance has been working in Africa with regional partners since the first Regional Fundraising Workshop in 1991.  

The programme in East Africa now consists of an annual regional workshop, courses in resource mobilisation and management and support for local associations of resource mobilisation practitioners, such as the Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals.

The Resource Alliance also benefits from an advisory board based in the region. The board members come from a wide variety of NGO backgrounds and are based in a number of countries, including Kenya, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Tanzania.
