16th Eastern Africa Resource Mobilisation Workshop

The Resource Alliance, in collaboration with the Kenya Association of Fundraising Professionals, is pleased to again present the premier regional event for fundraising professionals: the 16th Eastern Africa Resource Mobilisation Workshop.

This 5 day forum will consist of inspirational plenary sessions, practical skills development workshops and breakout sessions all designed to strengthen the capacity of development organisations to mobilise resources.  Featuring leading regional and international experts, and attracting delegates from more than 15 countries, the workshop will facilitate the sharing of resource mobilisation strategies, ideas and experiences.  It will break new ground and meet emerging needs in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive fundraising environment.

The main workshop will include plenaries, workshops, and interactive fundraisers "kumkunjis", covering topics such as:

• The Obama factor: valuable fundraising lessons from the world's fundraising guru
• Riding the elephant: capitalising on partnerships to mobilise resources
• Digitally wired: mobilising resources from your bedroom

...and many more!

For those who wish to build more comprehensive knowledge and polish their fundraising skills, an optional Master Course programme will be held over an extra day.
