IFC 2017 was held at a four-star conference centre NH Leeuwenhorst Hotel, Langelaan 3, 2211 XT Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands – 30 minutes away from Amsterdam City Centre and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

Each year, there is a free shuttle bus service in operation at certain times between the airport and the conference centre, as well as to and from satellite hotels for those of you staying offsite.

Please note that the information below is regarding IFC 2017.

There will be a free shuttle bus service running directly from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol to the conference centre every half an hour between 9:00 and 13:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday morning only.


On arrival, proceed to Baggage/Arrivals Hall and head straight to our IFC event desk which is located between Arrivals 1 and 2 (please see the red dot on the map). Our IFC event desk is located next to the bronze statues of different aviation pioneers and across from the yellow information desks. The closest restaurant is ‘La Place’. Our representatives wearing pink IFC T-shirts will be there to welcome you.


If you are arriving outside of the times when the shuttle buses are running (see above), you can use the journey planner and plan your journey using public transport.


There is a free shuttle bus service between the conference centre and your satellite hotel if you’re staying offsite. Please download the IFC app (for iPhone or Android) for a timetable or pickup a leaflet at the conference centre.

On Friday, remember to take your luggage with you! There are no more buses from the conference centre back to your hotel.

Click ‘Book trip’, fill in the required details and submit the request. You will need to pay in cash or card at the end of your journey.



Masterclass delegates can register from 9:30 on Tuesday at the IFC registration desk located in the Lobby. The registration for all other delegates opens from 9:30 on Wednesday morning.



Please note that the official check-in time at the onsite hotel – NH Leeuwenhorst – is 13:00 and therefore, your room may not be available on arrival. However, there will be a luggage room (Cambridge 21) and valuables safety boxes at your disposal.

The check-in times for the offsite hotels will be published soon.



Lunch and dinner will be served in the restaurants at the conference centre and times are detailed on the daily timetable (which will be published soon).

Paying for additional drinks: If you are not staying at the conference centre you can buy consumption tokens at the reception desk which you
can use to buy additional drinks during the week in all bars at the conference centre and during dinner times. Please note that the conference centre will not accept cash during dinners or in the bars, they will only accept consumption tokens or the room key card for guests staying onsite who have given a credit card guarantee at check-in. The tokens are non-refundable!
