Social & networking activities

Social and Networking

Below are just some of the networking events we hold at the IFC.

Fundraising DRTV Awards night

A fun-filled networking reception to launch the official opening of the Congress, with a special ceremony to award the best short-form DRTV fundraising where the ‘people' vote for the best DRTV. The Gold Star DRTV Award is sponsored by WWAV Rapp Collins

Gala night dinner & disco

After a busy schedule, delegates enjoy a complimentary cocktail as everyone dresses up to a particular theme for the year. A buffet-style dinner filled with exotic foods are laid out before the band warm the crowd up ready for the disco.

Gala networking dinner

For those wishing a quieter alternative to the gala night festivities, we organise a special networking dinner on Thursday evening. As always, this option is extremely popular providing delegates with the opportunity to dine over some light music, and network in a relaxing environment conducive to conversation.

National lunches

These lunch meetings are an excellent way to meet other delegates from the same country or region and discuss the fundraising issues affecting their area.

Further networking opportunities

Host a meeting

The IFC offers the perfect opportunity for large delegations from major international NGOs to host their own internal meetings. Our event team can assist you in arranging room set-up for either a meeting during the day, at lunch or plan a drinks reception in the evening. Contact Laura Boulton, Conference Coordinator at Laura@resource-alliance.org.

Skill-share

Organise your own skill-share event around the dates of the IFC and take advantage of some of the great speakers who will be in attendance, whilst benefiting from our discounted rooms hire costs. We can assist with planning an internal training meeting for your own organisation around the IFC. Contact Alan Bird, Events Director at Alan@resource-alliance.org.
