Neelam Makhijani Neelam provides overall leadership to the Resource Alliance working closely with various stakeholders, including institutional partners and the global volunteer network. Her role focuses on expanding the reach and impact of the capacity building work of the organisation to achieve our vision of a strong and sustainable civil society. Having worked as a political journalist in the US and with a passion for fundraising, Neelam has global experience and perspective of the challenges and potential of the non-profit sector worldwide.

Nyree Woolston Nyree is responsible for the smooth running of the Resource Alliance Head Office, overseeing internal systems, finance administration and ensuring the organisation meets legal compliance pertaining to Insurance and HR. Additionally, Nyree provides administrative support to key departments, regional staff as well as executive assistance to the CEO and the board of Trustees.

Laura ensures that all the Resource Alliance’s international conferences are delivered at the highest quality and that all targets are met. Working with volunteer Advisory Panels and Programme Committees, she develops the programme for each conference and also leads on new conference-related business opportunities.

Lauren is responsible for implementing the logistics for all of the Resource Alliance’s conferences and acts as the key point of contact for speakers. Lauren also manages data and evaluation for conferences and leads on delegate communications prior to the conference.

Lena’s role facilitates the Conference team to support all aspects of delegate management with great emphasis on service and client support, prior to and during three of the Resource Alliance’s flagship conferences.

Khyati contributes to the implementation of the annual marketing strategies for the International Fundraising Congress (IFC) and Fundraising Online in conjunction with the Head of Communications and Marketing. She is also responsible for delivering annual marketing plans focused on activities designed to increase brand awareness, achieve charitable objectives, sponsorship income and delegate targets. Additionally, she is involved in managing sponsor and exhibitor's contracts related to the Resource Alliance's conferences.

Jan supports the marketing and communications department with setting up email campaigns as well as with research and analyses. He also copy edits and updates the website. He is responsible for the administration of the Resource Alliance's CRM database and data segmentation for marketing campaigns.

Sarah joins us as the Head of International Programmes. She brings with her an impressive background and experience in the international civil society sector, with a focus on empowerment, capacity building and equality. Sarah will provide line management support to our regional teams, and lead on the development and implementation of the strategic plan to see the successful delivery of the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) and our awards programmes.

Lewis is responsible for implementing our international projects including our awards programmes; the International Workshops on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) in Africa and Asia; the Future Leaders programme; monitoring and evaluation processes as well as impact assessments. Lewis joins us from a background in programme management within an international development context.

Joseph Michael Fundraising Manager michael@resource-alliance.org
Michael has worked for a number of UK and overseas based international humanitarian and development organisations, managing international development projects in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Michael is familiar with overseeing assignments, facilitating capacity building programmes and has secured and managed funding from a variety of donors, trusts and foundations. In addition to this breadth of experience Michael has a PhD in development and public health and is published in the field of international development.

After delivering three successful International Workshops on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) in Africa, Robina joined the Business Development and Education team to help build the fundraising capacity of NGOs and manage the delivery of consulting contracts in Africa. She is also responsible for developing the expansion of the Resource Alliance’s courses and exploring and negotiating partnership opportunities with academic institutions and universities in the region. Robina also oversees the smooth running of the Africa Regional office.

As the Country Representative, Sheeja is responsible for leading on the development and effective implementation of the India Strategy, which contributes to the organisational strategy. Her work entails developing strategic partnerships, Workshops, courses, awards and consultancy work. In the past Sheeja has worked with the Aga Khan Development Network, the Department for International Development, the British High Commission and the World Bank.

Priyanka Sharma Priyanka supports the Country Representative in planning and implementing the Resource Alliance India programme. Her primary responsibilities include the India NGO Awards, the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) Asia and increasing the Resource Alliance India’s outreach. Priyanka previously worked with the Global Development Network and holds a Masters in European Studies, with specialisation in Economics.

Sanya is responsible for conducting research and analysis related to the work of the Resource Alliance India, which includes drafting project proposals and writing narrative reports. Sanya also assists with the implementation of programmes, including the India NGO Awards and the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) Asia. Previously she has worked with the National CSR Hub and India Today Group.

Madan provides administrative support to the activities of the Resource Alliance India, such as the India NGO awards and the International Workshop on Resource Mobilisation (IWRM) Asia. He has extensive experience in office administration and has been a support to the Resource Alliance for six years.
