We aim to be the global network for fundraising, resource mobilisation and philanthropy. We build skills, knowledge and promote excellence within civil society.

- Inclusive and diverse - the global alliance is inclusive and diverse in terms of the people and organisations involved and in its ideas
- Innovative - promoting and multiplying innovative approaches for increasing and diversifying sources of support
- Accountable - the Resource Alliance holds itself accountable to those it works with and promotes the highest standards in resource mobilisation and fundraising practice.
The Resource Alliance believes that strengthening civil society requires that voluntary organisations develop support by actively engaging with, and being publicly accountable to, their communities. Effective communications and mobilisation of support from a diverse range of sources are vital links in this process.
