Rohini Nilekani to speak at IWRM
Rohini Nilekani, the chairperson of Arghyam will join four other well known speakers to deliver the opening plenary at the IWRM in Bangalore on 25 June.
Nilekani spent many years as a journalist writing for leading publications and currently writes a fortnightly column for Mint, a financial daily. Forbes Asia has named her as one among 48 Heroes of Philanthropy.
She joins the Resource Alliance’s Lyndall Stein, Akwasi Aidoo, executive director of TrustAfrica, Christine Edwards, ceo of the Myer Foundation and the Sidney Myer Fund in Australia, and Rory Talentino, consultant (formerly ceo of the Asia Pacific Philanthropy Consortium) for the opening plenary ‘Can philanthrocapitalism save the world?’.
