A Corporate Partnership Beyond Disaster Relief: mobilising volunteers and raising funds!
In January 2011 The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) entered into a 3 year partnership focusing on disaster management and public awareness with the aim to create local partnerships worldwide.
TCCC Thailand and Thai Red Cross have been in partnership since 2007. During the Thai floods in 2011, Coca-Cola and Thai Red Cross expanded their partnership through the ‘Reunite to Relieve and Rebuild Thailand’ program.
This workshop will provide insights into the processes behind the partnership and inspire organisations to work with the corporate sector beyond receiving donations.
