Corporates

Speakers:

 Arundhati Ghosh(Main speaker)

In the last few years there has been a great surge and shift in the world of corporate philanthropy. While many of them have incorporated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategies into their mandate, some have started their own foundations. However, the financial uncertainty with the recent stock market instability has made many of them cautious of spending.

How can non-profits begin a meaningful dialogue with corporates? How can we build relationships that will weather the storms of the market? Is the CSR budget the only one to target? How can we offer corporate partnerships in the work that we do to change the world?

Get answers to these and many more questions that arise in the minds of fundraisers across the world. As with any set of donors, the corporate sector works in their unique ways and has a very distinct mindset. In this interactive session learn the way corporates think and function and what motivates them to give. Study the various ways in which non-profits can approach the corporate sector to donate to our work, help us raise funds and volunteer with us. With anecdotes, examples and hands-on exercises this workshop will prepare you to build sustainable long-term relationships with the corporate sector.
