The Resource Alliance has brought three IFC pop-ups to South Africa in 2017 and they were an amazing success!

Johannesburg – Cape TownDurban

What is an IFC pop-up?

A full day of amazing learning and inspiration delivered by international expert IFC speakers via video, with live Q&A. Each time slot throughout the day will give you a choice of two of the following sessions to attend. (Psst… best bet: Send two folks so your organisation can benefit from all the sessions!)

  • Opening plenary: Asking the right questions by Amanda Palmer (USA)

  • The Convergence Emergence – a corporate panel: How to re-engineer the sector’s engagement with business to maximise impact through partnerships

  • Putting your supporter in the story – and getting your story straight by Matthew Sherrington, Inspiration Action (UK)

  • Impact Reporting: The holy grail of describing the change your charity exists to achieve by Joe Jenkins, The Children’s Society (UK) and Tracey Pritchard, Friends of the Earth (UK)

  • New rules for revolutionaries by Kenneth Pennington (USA) and Zack Exley (USA)

  • Write what the funder wants to read: Drafting winning proposals for grant making foundations by Arnout Mertens, SOFIA (Italy)

  • Win that partnership: How to talk so companies will listen and how to listen so companies will talk by Rob Woods, Bright Spot Fundraising (UK) and Ben Swart, NSPCC (UK)

  • Relationship Fundraising by Kevin Schulman, Founder and Managing Partner of DonorVoice (UK)

  • How to engage with legacies by Stephen George, Southe (UK) and Allan Freeman, Freestyle Marketing (UK)

  • Innovation and technology for bigger impact – lessons from the south by Bruno Benjamin, Fundación Avina (Brazil) and Fabio Erdos (Brazil)

  • Reinventing F2F: The impact of increased engagement and VR by David Cravinho, UNICEF (Switzerland) and Daniel McDonnell, DT McDonnell Ltd (Thailand)
