In 2004, the Resource Alliance launched the first of its innovative Awards programmes in the Asia Pacific region.
Since then there have been two regional Award competitions held in the Asia Pacific region, and a new national-level NGO Award launched in India in 2006.
These ground-breaking Awards seek to celebrate and reward the best NGOs/non-profit organisations in each region or country. The Awards focus on professional management, innovation in local resource mobilisation, and the effectiveness of the organisation’s activities in improving the lives of the people they serve.
