Resource Mobilisation and Fundraising Certificate

The Resource Mobilisation and Fundraising Certificate is aimed at practising fundraisers who want to broaden their skills and at managers of fundraising departments who need to gain a wider understanding of resource mobilisation. It is intended primarily for NGOs operating internationally.

The course will provide students with a solid grounding in key areas of resource mobilisation, including recent developments and trends. The course will be highly participative and practical, and students will be invited to apply what they learn to their own work.

The course will cover 5 core modules:

• Fundamentals of Resource Mobilisation
• Resource Mobilisation Research
• Communication and Brand Building
• Resource Mobilisation Methods
• Strategy and Planning

Successful applicants should have at least one year of prior fundraising experience and degree level education or equivalent. English proficiency is required.

The course will be delivered as a one year, part time postgraduate diploma, start date to be confirmed. Classes will be held at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. Fees for the course will be CHF 10,000.
