Our rapidly changing world demands a faster, more decisive response to achieve change. And whether you want to drive wider change or are focused on change within your own organisation, the key is greater collaboration.
This session will explore the common factors that drive collaboration and expose the challenges that hold us back—individually, organisationally, and collectively.
Come along and meet a panel of great collaboration builders who have created:
- Movements to achieve collaborative social justice campaigns and international alliances
- Global representation and national unity for fundraising from a nation in wartime
- A grassroots-driven response to the climate emergency that gained a landmark ruling at the International Court of Justice
You’ll find out what these collaborators have learned from leading, internally and externally, to engage multiple parties and drive momentum through joint ownership and collaborative agency. More importantly, this interactive session will be an opportunity for you to bring your own collaboration challenges to the table. With the support of our expert panel and your fellow participants, we will work together to define our own path to great collaboration.
We’ll explore deep questions around change, including pinning down what exactly it is you’re trying to achieve, where you lack support, and what collaborative support you need to achieve your goals—both within yourself and in the world. You’ll leave the session with clarity around both practical collaboration principles and your own next steps.
IFC 2025 will feature five of these high-impact, immersive, and solution-focused Big Topic sessions designed to challenge our assumptions, kindle new ideas, and drive collective action. Outcomes from each session will feed into sector-wide recommendations, culminating in the IFC Manifesto for Change.
