Connecting Kenyan fundraisers with global innovation

  • Nairobi, Kenya

We’re excited to announced the return of the IFC Pop-Up to Nairobi!

On 28 August 2025, the IFC Pop-Up took place at the PrideInn Azure in Westlands, Nairobi, where Kenyan fundraisers connected with their colleagues in the social impact sector, shared their experiences, and bolstered their fundraising and leadership toolkits.

Hosted in partnership with the Kenyan Association of Fundraising Professionals (KAFP), the theme of this high-energy one-day event was Humanity + Tech: Bold Strategies for Fundraising and Influence in Uncertain Times.

Alongside workshops and Q & A sessions with local speakers, virtual sessions from renowned international experts included:

  • Community-Led Campaigns for Impact with Greenpeace Africa’s Tracy Makheti
  • Digital Tools for Donor Retention in Tough Times with Amnesty International Argentina’s Ambar Chacín Rondón
  • AI Leadership: The Brave, the Bold, and the Blindfolded with Cerebral Palsy Alliance’s Maisa Lopes Gomes and PLAI’s Kaz McGrath & Esther Kwaku
  • Harnessing AI and Agents for Impact with Salesforce’s Perre-Marie Boutet
  • Creator-Led Campaigns for Good with UNHCR MENA’s Raefah Makki
