The premier event for African fundraisers & changemakers
A day of Pan-African knowledge exchange.
- 12 August • Online • Free
All new for 2026, the Africa Fundraising Congress is a free one-day virtual gathering bringing together fundraisers, campaigners, and CSO leaders from across the African continent.
At a time of shrinking civic space, shifting aid landscapes, and rising inequality, African organisations aren’t standing still – they’re innovating. From community-led giving and diaspora engagement to digital mobilisation and emerging financing models, Africa is at the fore of shaping locally-grounded solutions.
The Africa Fundraising Congress creates a dedicated space to connect those solutions, share practical tools, and amplify African insight to a global audience. It is a space for you to learn from experts, yes, but also to learn from your peers, to share what’s working (and be honest about what isn’t!), while building relationships that last beyond a single event.
African organisations are taking greater control of how they fund their work, building trust, and designing financial models that reflect their realities. But this shift cannot happen in isolation – it requires connection, exchange, and collaboration.
