Ethics in fundraising

Ethics in fundraising

A lively & inspiring debate on ethics in fundraising & communications

Over the last few years, the world has seen a dramatic change. The pandemic, war, the global focus on movements like Black Lives Matter and #MeToo, and even things like the implementation of GDPR regulations have changed our perspectives. There is an urgent need across the world to adapt to the new status quo – which also applies to fundraising. Fundraising must be built on values and principles, inspired by the purest of motives. This has always been the case, but now, external factors are forcing us to review our ways of working. And that’s not a bad thing; we can and should play a proactive and positive role in these changes.

This lively, interactive workshop will include a thorough discussion of ethics in fundraising and how external factors can (and should!) influence the way we fundraise and communicate. Be ready for reflection, inspiration, and spirited debate!
