Harnessing the power of the digital sharing economy

When the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Hub of Innovation for Change (I4C) was established in 2016, the issue of financing challenges for regional CSOs was top of the agenda. Success stories of the sharing economy inspired the development of a collaborative economy platform, with I4C testing the use of the digital sharing economy to support CSOs in their sustainability journey. Over the past four years, the concept has been tailored and prototyped across three regions: LAC, MENA, and Africa. Panelists Mouna Ben Garga, Rajae Boujnah, Njambi Wagacha, and Cristina Ordóñez will share their experience of civil society harnessing the power of the digital sharing economy and discuss its impact.
