Purpose-driven corporations and their role in social movements and causes

Increasingly, we see corporations describe themselves or their initiatives as purpose driven.

In this Big Room session, we will be asking corporate representatives from outstanding companies to share examples of their campaigns and sustainability initiatives.

Many companies have entered into the social movement and purpose-driven space. Often without a charity partner. Others have done this in collaboration with the non-profit sector.

Through case studies and a moderated panel discussion, we will discover and share what is driving companies to make these commitments.

The panellists will explore critical questions, including:

  • What is the rationale behind these case studies and strategic initiatives?
  • What are the drivers?
  • How are these being communicated to stakeholders and the general public?
  • What are the implications for charities and NGOs?
