Reimagining Fundraising in a Post-ODA World

With traditional aid models under pressure and ODA budgets slashed, fundraisers are at a crossroads. What does the future of our work look like when the the foundations of our funding are shaking? How do we move beyond chasing grants and forever filling funding gaps to driving real, transformational change?

You’re invited to join fundraisers from across the sector—not just leaders—to reflect on the evolving purpose of our work. What new roles can we play in rebuilding trust, resourcing justice, and shifting narratives? How do we connect local action with global solidarity? And how do we build resilient, values-led funding ecosystems that can thrive beyond the aid paradigm?

Together, we will explore powerful new possibilities for fundraising to be a force for systems change and hear from people already charting this path.

IFC 2025 will feature five of these high-impact, immersive, and solution-focused Big Topic sessions designed to challenge our assumptions, kindle new ideas, and drive collective action. Outcomes from each session will feed into sector-wide recommendations, culminating in the IFC Manifesto for Change.
