Oxfam Great Britain’s 2.5 million supporters engage with the organisation in 17 different ways, from volunteering in Oxfam retail outlets or at festivals to taking campaign action or giving regularly. Each of these engagement types is equally important.

Through analysis of this supporter engagement, the organisation discovered that if a supporter participates in three of more of these engagement types, their contribution to the organisation doubles, their loyalty increases substantially, and they respond to campaign asks more readily.
